Mikhail Blagosklonny Working To Increase Longevity

Readers may not know the name of scientist and researcher, Mikhail Blagosklonny, today but his work on aging may open avenues for our species to live healthier and longer than thought possible. He was educated in St. Petersburg, Russia at the First Pavlov State Medical University on Research Pavlov was the Russian scientist who connected stimulus and response reactions in his lab animals. Blagosklonny may someday supplant Pavlov as the most famous of Russian scientists. After graduating with an M.D. and a Ph.D., Blagosklonny became an associate professor of medicine teaching at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. He then took a position as a senior research scientist on at Ordway Research Institute in Albany, New York. In 2009 he was awarded a full professorship of Oncology at the prestigious Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.
